Fundación ArtSur, a Madrid-based art foundation, required a new editorial identity for all their collateral materials including brochures, art catalogs and the foundation’s annual report.
Taking into consideration their needs and budget constraints, the new design considered style, functionality and sustainability as the main values to design their new editorial look.
The proposed look-and-feel included the use of a graphic element comprised of three interchanging boxes that represent the foundation’s objectives of cultural and artistic exchange between the North and the South. Based on this structure, we designed a set of innovative and stylish brochures and catalogs with two functions in mind: to showcase the foundation’s work and objectives, and to create a collection of posters that visitors could keep as a collectible item.
These posters where designed using standard ISO paper A3 that can be folded into an A5, thus allowing the client to digitally print the amount needed and reducing paper waste.
